Being a sustainable printing business is about committing to do our part as a business to evaluate and implement sensible alternatives to help sustain our environment.  

Being an Eco-Friendly printer is about using environmentally-sound printing practices.  It’s about and taking our environmental actions seriously, ensuring they are designed to reduce, reuse, and recycle wherever and whenever possible.

Minimizing Our Environmental Impact

Minuteman Press Dublin respects the planet we live on.  We believe that we can do our part as individuals and as a company to be a good steward of our environment and maintain eco-friendly and sustainable printing practices. Our day-to-day operations ensure that future generations will be able to enjoy our natural resources just as we have.  Here are some of our Sustainability Initiatives:

  • 99.9% of our scrap paper is collected and recycled
  • We use recycled paper wherever possible within our operation
  • The cardboard boxes that our production materials arrive in, are all completely recycled
  • Our toner is recycled
  • Energy efficiency programs reduce electrical consumption within our printing facility
  • On-line ordering and proofing save fuel and other precious raw materials
  • Our paper is virtually all obtained from renewable forestry harvests. All paper sources contain percentages of recyclable paper and are certified by the 3 chain of custody certifications:  Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) – Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and SC – SFI – Progamme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
